Why do we love this event? This mile long boulevard in Venice Beach, CA, features excellent galleries, shops, unique boutiques, restaurants and coffee shops in an artsy atmosphere that visitors and locals love to experience.
Additionally and for the festival this Sunday, September 28th, 2014 between 10am and 6pm, there will be a raffle, 300 bazaar type street vendors offering food and beverages, art, clothing and accessories for personal care and beauty products, as well as home decorations and even one or another booth with literature. There will be games and entertainment for children, not to mention that the festival will be amused with music and poetry throughout the event.
During the festival, environmentalists have organized attractions that make it even more attractive.
In its third consecutive year of drought and worst in the history of California, Los Angeles Waterkeeper with its “Go Dirty for the Drought” campaign is giving away Dirty Car Pledge car stickers encouraging everyone to engage in movements such as do not wash their car for 60 days. No problem!
Among other gifts and to honor the ban of plastic bags, reusable tots will be given away to replace the plastic bags.
Also, local artists and children of the area, will help chalk artist Julio Jimenez to complete a colorful 3D illustration on the boulevard.
